Founded in 2176 and launched in 2185, the Andromeda initiative is a villain, multi-species project created to send scientists, explorers and colonists on a one-way trip to settle in the Andromeda Galaxy. With powerful benefactors lending their support, the program has grown substantially in scope since its inception.

The initiative’s ultimate goal is to establish a permanent presence on the seemingly resource-rich frontier of Andromeda, and eventually create a reliable route between it and the Milky Way Galaxy.

Andromeda game, players play as Scott or Sarah Riley, otherwise known as The Pathfinder, leading an elite squad of military-trained explorers across the Milky Way in search of Andromeda.

While the game was released in March 2017, its recent updates that have been released have improved its overall performance.

Cinematic scenes have seen various improvements, while balance in multiplayer has been overhauled.

Certain weapons will now also be more effective.

The game’s developers have boosted base damage for several underperforming assault rifles , pistols and shotguns to make them more effective.

They have also reduced the damage of the Vanquister Sniper rifle to make it compatible with other weapons.

Developers have also noted that, “Because we don’t want players to miss any of the great side conversations with their crew, dialogue options will no longer appear ‘greyed out’ if a character has more to say”.

Further updates include

Improved legibility of subtitles as well as an increased number of autosaves allowed. The update has also improved responsiveness of control sticks as well as fixed the issue where the player would crouch repeatedly while interacting with the device.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is an action role-playing video game developed by Bioware Montreal. This release is the fourth main entry into the Mass Effect Series and it has open world elements and an emphasis on exploration.
