First National Bank (FNB) offers South African clients a range of competitive products and services designed to make their lives more convenient. From transactional services, to credit, savings and investment solutions, FNB offers various innovative services to clients.

Through the FNB Connect offering, the bank offers its clients added value in the form of a competitive cellphone network.

To order the SIM, individuals can use the existing FNB online banking service.

“The integration of this offering with digital platforms such as FNB’s online banking will afford customers the benefit of a single login to simultaneously manage their financial and mobile accounts,” said FNB in a statement.

FNB CEO Jacques Celliers says that the move is intended as “another way to add value to our customers’ lives” and further integrates clients “into the FNB ecosystem”.

This package is available to private individuals for personal use. It’s subject to a credit approval process.

To qualify, you must have an active qualifying FNB Account in good standing. The offer can also be taken up together with the FNB Cone Xis smartphone deal or any other branded mobile phone.

FNB Unlimited Calling is available for R399 on a month-to-month basis. A once-off activation fee is charged and a monthly caller identity fee of R6.00 is charged.

The offer is exclusive to Premier, Private and Wealth customers.

What are the benefits?

There are no date/usage charges when accessing FNB’s digital channels.

Users get unlimited voice calls to any network.

You are charged R1 per MB for out-of-bundle rates.

Each customer can choose between 2 Unlimited Voice Packages. The PostPaid Unlimited package includes a SIM, 100MB of data and 50 SMSes. The TopUp Unlimited package also included a SIM, 100MB of data and 50 SMSes.

The FNB Unlimited Calling package has a fair usage policy

No more than 2000 outgoing voice minutes per month.

The SIM must receive incoming traffic.

The SIM may not be restricted to a fixed geographical location.
