A variety of car insurance products are offered which suit your life and budget. Budget Insurance Cover offers four different car insurance products:

Comprehensive car insurance 

This is the whole package and is the most extensive type of insurance cover. With this type of cover you can claim for the theft of your car, for any additional damages or for damages that you accidentally cause to a third party’s property.

Third Party, Fire and Theft

A more limited form of insurance, this type of cover allows you to claim for the theft of your car as well as certain specified damage to your car. This type of cover does not however cover any accidental damage to your car.

Third Party Only

This is the least expensive type of cover and is the most basic type of cover. It is best suited for cars that are paid in full and have a low value. You can claim for damage that you have caused to another party’s property.

Budget Car Value

Budget Insurance Cover gives you the option to insure your vehicle for its Retail, Trade or Market Value. BetterCar gives you the chance to insure your current car, so that if it’s written off, it will be replaced with a younger model with fewer kilometres on the clock.

If your car is written off, BetterCar will replace your car with the same model, which is one year newer. This offer however does not apply to cars written off as a result of theft, attempted theft, hijacking or attempted hijacking.
